HOW DO I CREATE AN ALIAS

For every Yahoo! ID you can create 6 aliases.

1. In the Messenger menu at the top of Y!M choose My Account Info. You can also use this link to sign in: https://edit.yahoo.com/mc2.0/eval_profil

2. Under Account Settings click 淢anage your Yahoo! Aliases. It will take you to the page to add or delete an alias. Just click the blue Add an alias link to add an alias. Then click save on the right.

3. To delete an alias click Delete on the right.

Yahoo recently redesigned the whole Account Info page so it will look different than you are used to.

One major thing that is different in the new Yahoo Profile system is that aliases cannot have unique profiles. If you want an alias to have a profile you will have to link it to your main Yahoo ID. Only link your alias to the main Yahoo ID if you do not mind that they share a profile.

You might need to exit Yahoo! Messenger before the new alias you have created becomes available in the drop down menu of the Join a room window for chat rooms or the drop down menu under Send As in the IM box.

You can also choose to sign into Yahoo Messenger with your Alias instead of your Yahoo ID and then you will not have to change the name in the IM window or if you go to a chat room because it will already be set as your Alias.

How do I link my Alias to Primary Yahoo! ID?:

http://help.yahoo.com/l/us/yahoo/profile . If you want to remain completely anonymous then you would not want to link your alias to the Yahoo ID.

How do you change the user link or head on LiveJournal?

I've seen people replace the head or person wearing the blue shirt next to usernames to things like hearts and other things, does anyone know how to change them or what html to use to change them? How do you change the user link or head on LiveJournal?
If I am understanding you correctly, you are probably referring to what LiveJournal calls %26quot;userpics%26quot;.

The direct link is: http://www.livejournal.com/editpics.bml

Another way to get there is, while on the main LiveJournal page and logged in, click on that %26quot;person wearing the blue shirt%26quot; next to your user name. It will take you to another page. Click on %26quot;editing your userpic keywords or uploading a new userpic%26quot;

Now the page will be one where you can upload a picture. Once you upload it, you can choose which one is your default and there you have it =)

For future referrence, LiveJournal Support can be found by clicking on %26quot;Help%26quot; nearby your username on the LiveJournal homepage.

From there, you can access a wealth of information, namely the FAQs.

Here are the FAQs for userpics:

Hope this was what you had in mind and the information helps =)

Good luck fellow LJer

How to change my user account on school computers to admin?

MY schools network runs on windows XP professional the network name is RPS. I am sick of being limited to only certian sites it is expically anooying when i have research how do i change my user account to an administrator accountHow to change my user account on school computers to admin?
First contact the head of IT and ask him for his password. If he refuses as he might well do then you need to learn to hack the network. Sadly this requires a great deal of study which will probably take you beyond the time you finish school. Most school and college IT departments do not bar legitimate study and research sites, only my face you tube etcetera. If a needed site is barred then appeal to your tutors who may well get it sorted for you.

Is there a way to change your youtube user name?

I don't want to delete it because I have alot of videos uploaded and stuff, but I really want to change my user name. Does anyone know how?Is there a way to change your youtube user name?
Currently there is no way you can change your current username.

instead of trying to find ways to change username just creat another account and add all the videos in the new one. But however you will have to upload them all again and the views will be reset to 0.
